Bob Reiser is Balentine’s Senior Investment Advisor, and a member of the Investment Strategy Team.  Previously he was Chief Investment Officer of Wilmington Trust Investment Management and Balentine & Company.

Bob began his career in the Treasurer’s office of Exxon Corporation and in 1971 joined the investment firm of Montag & Caldwell, where he was Executive Vice President.  In 1982, Bob founded The Reiser Company, an investment management and consulting firm that merged with Balentine & Company in 1998.

Bob holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and is an honors graduate of Wesleyan University and a graduate of Leadership Atlanta.  He is active in a number of civic and philanthropic activities and currently serves as Chair of the Georgia Shakespeare Theatre, as Life Director of the Alliance Theatre, as a Trustee of the Atlanta Botanical Garden and as a Trustee of the John H. and Wilhelmina D. Harland Charitable Foundation.  He has previously served as Chair and Trustee of the Georgia State University Foundation;, Trustee of the Woodruff Arts Center, Trustee of Reinhardt College and as President and Trustee of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.
