Question 1: Why did you choose to come to work at Balentine?

The team at Balentine and the incredible environment they foster. Everyone I met with was intelligent, kind, and welcoming. Most importantly, I could see the enthusiasm for and dedication to clients they serve as well as each other.

Question 2: What is the most exotic place you have ever been?

New Zealand! Over two weeks I boated through Waitomo Caves, saw Te Piua erupt, learned about the Māori culture, including watching a haka, took a helicopter and hiked Franz Josef Glacier, and sailed with dolphins at Milford Sound.

Question 3: What do you like to do in your down time away from work?

I love to travel, I am constantly figuring out where to go next - especially if I can play a new golf course with my friends and family. When not traveling I am hanging out with the 3 most adorable rescues in our backyard, at the dog park, or at the lake. I am a book worm. From mysteries to fiction to cookbooks - I have so much fun experimenting with new recipes in my kitchen!

Question 4: What was your best business decision?

Going back to school for my Masters degree. I worked in finance roles for five years and wanted to have a stronger foundation in my chosen field. I was fortunate to be accepted to Emory University. There I was a part of an amazing cohort and together we were learning from brilliant professors. The classes were team-oriented challenges guiding us on how to champion each others strengths to achieve overall goals and opportunities to improve.
