Jennifer Dangar is the Chief Operating Officer at Balentine. She has more than twenty years of leadership experience, most recently serving as the Chief of Corporate Operations for Jackson Healthcare, overseeing the operational activities of 16 portfolio companies and 1,300 associates.
She previously served as Chief Strategy Officer & President of Distribution for The Weather Company. Additionally, Jennifer spent 13 years at Discovery Communications, rising to the position of Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing and came to live in Atlanta through her role as Vice President of Turner Broadcasting.
Jennifer is active in the community and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Schenck School among other charitable endeavors.
In 2019, the Atlanta Business Chronicle recognized Jennifer as a Women Who Mean Business honoree.
Jennifer graduated with a BA in Ancient History from Tulane University.

What is the most exotic place you have ever been?
Jaipur, India
What do you like to do in your time away from work?
Travel, cook, read and entertain. My family would add that I love to run the Dysonstick vacuum at least twice a day.
Why did you come to work at Balentine?
The people. I truly enjoy working with super smart people. I discovered how interesting and kind everyone is here and that was lagniappe!
What was your biggest missed opportunity?
I had an opportunity to meet the Pope and wasn’t able to take advantage of it.
Who were your heroes growing up?
My Dad has always been my hero. He taught me an incredible work ethic and anincredible sense of integrity. He is a brilliant scientist and the most kind person Ihave ever known.
