What inspires you to come to work each day?
My family is and will always continue to inspire me. I recently became a mom, and my daughter has brought me so much joy and strength I never knew I had. She already inspires me to be a better and a supportive person to others.
How does your role fit in the big picture of serving clients?
I believe my role provides the comfort and security that our clients are looking for. My role provides additional trust when we communicate directly to them instead of an automated machine.
Why did you choose to come work for Balentine?
I easily chose to work here when I met the people that I’d be working with. Everyone I met with was extremely friendly and kind to me. I felt like I instantly connected with the people and the culture.
What do you like to do in your downtime away from work?
I love to spend time with my family and friends – one of my favorite activities is going on a walk with my husband, daughter, and dog. I love to eat – so I enjoy going to try restaurants around the city. If I get the time, I love to travel!
Who were your heroes growing up and how did that influence your life and career?
My dad is my biggest hero, and will always be. Not only did he raise me and my special needs brother as a single parent with a full-time job, but he was my biggest cheerleader in sports and school. He never missed a game, always helped with homework, and listened to me when I was struggling. He provided me with a great foundation to learn what I wanted in life and for a career.
