Why did you choose to come to work at Balentine?
Balentine’s people and culture are what drew me to working here. I thought it was especially telling that, after meeting individually with a diverse group of Balentine employees, I felt like I fit in with all of them. The common thread was Balentine’s culture and values, which I could see I shared.
What was your best business decision?
My best business decision was to pause my career for over a decade to raise my children and support my family and community. The experiences I gained during that time strengthened skills that are essential in business, including adaptability, emotional intelligence, stakeholder management, and communication. I returned to work with a broader perspective, stronger judgment, greater confidence, and a deeper appreciation for people and priorities.
What is the most exotic place you have ever been?
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, one of the most historic and recognizable circuits in motorsport, to watch the F1 Belgium Grand Prix.
What do you like to do in your down time away from work?
I enjoy cooking healthy meals for my family, going to my neighborhood book club, reading a hard copy of the weekend WSJ, taking walks while listening to my favorite podcasts, and fitness classes - barre, strength training, tabata, and yoga.
