Sovannary brings over a decade of experience to this role. Prior to joining Balentine in 2023, she worked as a C-Suite executive assistant at Macy’s.

Question 1: What do you like to do in your down time away from work?

I love to cook!

Question 2: Who were your heroes growing up and how did that influence your life and career?

My parents are my biggest heroes! They fled from war, and were separated at camps for years. They escaped Cambodia to have a better life for their family. My mom has always pushed us to be independent, and to be go getters without losing our culture and values.

Question 3: Why did you choose to come work at Balentine?

It is a great opportunity for me to learn about a new industry. I had great interaction with everyone through the interview process that confirmed I was making the right decision.

Question 4: What inspires me to come to work everyday?

What drive me are the people! You build and maintain relationships with colleagues that become more than just co-workers. Over the years, I've gained so much knowledge and I hope to do the same at Balentine.
