We are pleased to share our 2019 Capital Markets Forecast. This annual research piece is the foundation of our investment process, and the projections herein form the basis of the strategies we design to help our clients achieve their goals.

This year's edition, "Risk Markets Reset: Where are the Opportunities Amid More Turbulent Times?" explores the current market environment from a long-term strategic view. Given general investor anxiety regarding the length of the current economic expansion and bull market, we define economic cycles, pinpoint where we may be in the current cycle, and evaluate what it could mean for markets going forward. In short, although December's equity market declines were unnerving, we continue to believe the expansion and bull market can continue, even if volatility is likely to be higher.

Our long-term track record owes much to getting the "big picture" right. We hope you find this year's Capital Markets Forecast informative in understanding what is realistic to expect from today's starting point.
